PureDC-B1/B1H: The Different Power Cables

We're always amazed at the difference a power cable makes at this level! We carry four different cable types:

1) The included standard cable, 50cm, is designed for both 2.1mm and 2.5mm round plugs, while our higher-quality cables have either 2.1mm or 2.5mm plugs. The recommended power direction is not marked on the standard cable; it's worth testing. (The direction of the cable usually runs opposite to the direction of the labeling.)

2) Silver-plated OFC, 1m, direction marked: A clearly audible upgrade in volume, dynamics, and liveliness; our budget recommendation.

3) Silver-plated OCC Copper, 1m, direction marked: Spatial distribution, timbre, and dynamics. Near optimal, immersive high-end. Currently unavailable.

4) Ultra Pure Silver OCC, 1m, direction marked: Ultimate high-end, with even greater performance in all aspects: vocal and instrument localization, dynamics, and precision are at their peak.

Our Ultra Pure Silver OCC is only manufactured upon customer request, sometimes in other lengths or with special connectors. Please inquire in these cases.

PureDC-B1/B1H: 24x7- and Pure Play Mode

Unlimited Play Mode: Our power supplies are designed for continuous operation and can power your router/switch/NUC around the clock.
Pure Play Mode: You get optimal sound without a connection to the power grid.

PureDC-B1/B1H: (Dauer-)Leistung

The continuous power is guaranteed at 4A at the round plugs and 1A at the 5V USB port (only available with the PureDC-B1). However, there are considerable reserves for peak loads and higher inrush currents.

With the PureDC-B1 and a router or switch (12V 0.8-1A), you can expect 7-10 hours of playtime; with the PureDC-B1H and a NUC (19V 0.8-1A), such as the Roon Nucleus, you can even expect 12-16 hours of playtime.

PureDC-B1/B1H: Power consumption

For example, when PureDC-B1 is used in conjunction with a router, the power consumption is increased by approximately 1.5W.

Wir sind selbst immer wieder erstaunt, welchen Unterschied das Stromkabel auf diesem Niveau ausmacht! Wir führen vier unterschiedliche Kabeltypen:

1) Das mitgelieferte Standardkabel, 50cm, ist für 2,1mm und 2,5mm Rundstecker zugleich ausgelegt, während unsere höherwertigen Kabel entweder 2,1mm- oder 2,5mm-Stecker besitzen. Die empfohlene Stromrichtung ist beim Standardkabel nicht markiert, Ausprobieren lohnt sich. (Die Kabelrichtung verläuft üblicherweise entgegengesetzt zur Richtung der Beschriftung.)

2) Silver-plated OFC, 1m, Richtung markiert: Ein deutliches hörbares Upgrade in Volumen, Dynamik und Lebendigkeit, unsere Budget-Empfehlung.

3) Silver-plated OCC Copper, 1m, Richtung markiert: Raumaufteilung, Klangfarben und Dynamik Nahe beim Optimum, imersives high end. Derzeit nicht verfügbar.

4) Ultra Pure Siver OCC, 1m, Richtung markiert: Ultimatives high end, im Vergleich nochmals gesteigerte Leistung in allen Punkten: Lokalisation von Stimmen und Instrumenten, Dynamik, Präzision sind auf dem Höhepunkt.

Unser Ultra Pure Siver OCC wird nur auf Kundenwunsch gefertigt, teils auch in anderen Längen oder mit speziellen Steckern. Bitte fragen Sie in diesen Fällen bei uns nach.

Unlimited Play Mode: Unsere Stromversorgungen sind für den Dauerbetrieb ausgelegt und können Ihren Router/Switch/NUC rund um die Uhr mit Strom versorgen.
Pure Play Mode: Optimalen Klang erhalten Sie ohne Verbindung zum Stromnetz.

PureDC-B1/B1H: (Dauer-)Leistung

Die Dauerleistung beträgt garantierte 4A an den Rundsteckern und 1A am 5V-USB-Anschluss (nur bei PureDC-B1 vorhanden). Für Lastspitzen und höhere Einschaltströme sind aber erhebliche Reserven vorhanden.

Mit PureDC-B1 und einem Router bzw. Switch (12V 0,8-1A) können Sie mit 7-10 Stunden, mit PureDC-B1H und einem NUC (19V 0,8-1A), etwa Roon Nucleus, sogar mit 12-16 Stunden Spielzeit rechnen.

PureDC-B1/B1H: Stromverbrauch

Der Stromverbrauch ist beispielsweise im Zusammenspiel von PureDC-B1 mit einem Router um ca. 1,5W erhöht.
